Innovations
Nature Lab is our initiative to research, test and develop shoes in a more sustainable way. This shoe uses the following innovations:
#1 – Uppers in Norwegian Wool
These shoes were made using Norwegian wool, embracing sustainable and local materials. Leather remains one of the most durable non-plastic options for footwear, lasting a lifetime with proper care. But we wanted an alternative. Norwegian wool offers the best solution we’ve found—strong, breathable, and naturally water-resistant.

These shoes come with a size insert, designed to improve fit and reduce returns. Offering half sizes helps, but it also creates stock and production challenges. Instead, we developed a size insert that adjusts the fit by half a size, ensuring a better fit without extra production. If a shoe feels slightly off, this simple solution makes it just right.
